Responsibilities / achievements:

  • Personnel management. Oversaw staff leading curriculum and instruction in all content areas.
  • Grants management. Managed design and implementation of federal 21st Century Learning (Title IV) grant programs.
  • Policy analysis / development. Facilitated development of new academic (student), professional (educator), and program (school) standards for computer science education.
  • Communication / presentation. Prepared and presented reports to legislative committees, various boards including the NH State Board of Education, and presented at various conferences.
  • Stakeholder coordination / collaboration. Engaged with national and local groups working to advance STEM and Computing education. Participated in Gov. Hassan’s STEM Education Task Force. Co-founded the CS4NH Alliance. Member of National Board of Directors for Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA). Member of ETS Praxis Computer Science National Advisory Committee.
  • Event planning / coordination. Contributed to successful planning and execution of multiple events including CS4NH summit, Cyber Robotics Coding Challenge (CRCC).
